Traveller's cheques.
Your money is insured worldwide when you use the tried and trusted travellers' cheques from American Express, as these can usually be replaced within 24 hours if lost or stolen, wherever you are in the world. You can exchange travellers' cheques for local currency in most banks and bureaux de change in most countries worldwide. Many hotels, shops and restaurants also accept them just like cash as payment for products or services. Travellers' cheques have no expiry date. If you do not use them on one journey, you can simply keep them to top up your funds for your next. SBB Change can issue travellers' cheques in US dollars, euros, Swiss francs and also in Australian and Canadian dollars at some offices. Of course, we can also change your travellers' cheques back into Swiss francs. SBB Change: locations and opening hours.
