Requesting assistance.
To request assistance when boarding, changing or alighting from trains at our staffed “Support Stations”, please contact SBB Call Center Handicap. The Call Center can also tell you which stations and trains have wheelchair access and help you select the most suitable trains. Assistance is available free of charge to wheelchair users, passengers with impaired mobility, the blind and visually impaired and the mentally handicapped.
Advance notice.
Please be sure to request assistance no later than one hour before your train is due to depart so that we have enough time to organise appropriate assistance.
Exceptions.
Two hours' notice is required at the following Support Stations:

- Flüelen, Frick
- Glarus
- Hasle-Rüegsau (BLS), Heerbrugg, Huttwil (BLS)
- Kirchberg-Alchenflüh (BLS)

- Schwyz, Sonceboz-Sombeval, St-Imier, St-Ursanne

- Wattwil, Wettingen, Willisau (BLS), Wohlen

What we need to know.
- Your first and last names
- Telephone number (in case we need more information)
- The date of travel and destination
- The desired departure or arrival time
- The nature of your disability (impaired mobility, in a wheelchair (with or without motor), visually impaired or mentally handicapped)
Standing orders.
Do you travel regularly on the same route? If so, you could place a standing order with SBB Call Center Handicap for these journeys. Please notify SBB Call Center Handicap if you are going to be absent (on holiday, for example) or if your travel plans change, however, as otherwise we cannot guarantee the assistance you require.
